Description


Often our partners will ask us to add or remove an MPexchange mailbox. The current dropsuite configuration does not automatically discover and add new mailboxes to the dropsuite backup when they are added to the tenant. This process explains the current best practice for insuring that the new mailbox is correctly backed up, and the dropsuite user account is reset correctly.


The Process


Add the new MPexchange mailbox as you normally would within MPexchange.

Go into the list of mailboxes, and Convert “dropsuite@<domain>” into a Mailbox (from being just a user) By “Enabling Mailbox” - this will allow it to be selected in the next stage.


Go into the mailbox for the new user - select “Mailbox Access: Full Access & Send As”.

Add the dropsuite@<domain> to this list.

This will allow dropsuite to see and add the new user.

Go back into MPexchange mailbox list and now remove the “Mailbox” for the Dropsuite user so we dont continue to incur a fee.


Go into the Dropsuite portal, and add the mailbox for the customer to the backup.
