Description

This article provides the latest information about NinjaOne's acquisition of Dropsuite and what this means for Partners.

What happened to Dropsuite?

Dropsuite was acquired by NinjaOne in 2025 and is now part of NinjaOne’s SaaS Backup portfolio. As part of this transition, the Dropsuite website has been retired, but the Dropsuite technology continues on as NinjaOne SaaS Backup, powered by the same proven platform and team.

NinjaOne will continue its investment in the platform through ongoing innovation, roadmap development, and long-term support, while preserving the reliability and simplicity MSPs expect.

You will continue operating exactly as you do today, with no changes to your data, backups, distributor relationships, or service continuity as a result of this transition.

Will my existing backups, data or retention be affected?

No. All existing backups, data, retention policies and security controls remain intact and unchanged. Your data continues to be protected as it is today, with no disruption to coverage.

There is no action required to maintain your current backups.

Do I need to change how I log in or manage my backups?

No changes are required for existing customers.

If you are already using Dropsuite, you can continue logging in and managing your backups the same way you do today.

Where do I go for support?

Support continues uninterrupted through Manage Protect. Existing customers should continue

using the same support resources and processes they rely on today.
