Dropsuite | NinjaOne SaaS Backup


New Branding

  • Having acquired Dropsuite last year, NinjaOne will begin transitioning the Dropsuite brand  to NinjaOne SaaS Backup. As part of this update, the Dropsuite.com website will direct visitors to a new page on NinjaOne.com. 
  • While you may see updated branding and new NinjaOne pages, the underlying technology, reliability, and customer-first service you depend on are not changing.
  • All existing backups, data, retention policies, and security controls remain intact and unchanged. Your data continues to be protected as it is today, with no disruption to coverage. There is no action required to maintain your current backups. 

What is not changing
Your experience with the product and our teams remains the same: 
  1. Product access: You can continue logging in the same way you always have: https://dropsuite.com/select-region/ 
  2. Help Center: Existing support workflows and resources remain fully available
  3. Contacts and support processes: The teams you rely on remain unchanged 
  4. Subscriptions and service levels: No action is required on your part 


 


New Admin Controls for MFA

  • New MFA controls are now available, giving MSP admins new controls to enforce and reset MFA. The goal is simple: strengthen account protection and reduce the risk of unauthorised access for both you and your customers.

The Check Point (Avanan) activation process is now fully self-service.  You no longer need to contact support to initiate a switch; you can now manage the entire transition directly through the our platform if you wish.


  • Instant Console Access: Clicking "Switch to Check Point" now automatically invites you to the Check Point portal so you can authorise tenants immediately.
  • Real-time Tracking: Monitor the transition from "Learning" to "Active" directly in your dashboard.
  • The switch is permanent once completed.


Enhanced Phishing simulations & flexible training

 

  • Targeted Simulations: 30 new scenarios focusing on Credential Harvesting and QR Code phishing.

  • Just-in-Time Learning: Post-interaction videos that play automatically if a user clicks a link, enters credentials, or scans a malicious QR code.

  • Flexible Training Formats: Choose between Deep & Formal or Quick & Casual video styles to fit your client’s company culture.

  • Broad availability: Automatically included for all customers and all plan types on incidents created from October 2025 onwards, with full support for AI verdicts, insights, and customer feedback.

New Department-Based Filters for Security Awareness Training Dashboard and Policies

 

Avanan has enhanced its Security Awareness Training with new department-level filtering and policy assignment, giving security teams more precise visibility and control.


  • Granular reporting and insights: The SAT dashboard now allows filtering by department and policy, enabling administrators to easily review training engagement and phishing simulation results for specific teams or high-risk business units.
  • Targeted policy assignment: SAT policies can now be assigned directly to individual departments using Microsoft 365 Azure AD data, ensuring accurate targeting and better alignment of training campaigns with organisational structure.





File Cleaning now supported for Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint


Avanan has enhanced protection for Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint by adding File Cleaning (Threat Extraction) as an additional security layer alongside sandboxing and antivirus.


  • Proactive file sanitisation: Even when files are deemed clean, File Cleaning (CDR) removes potentially harmful active content such as macros, embedded objects, and scripts, reducing the risk of zero-day and evasive threats while preserving file usability and collaboration.
