Description


Backup365 has the ability to complete folder restores of the Mailbox in the Backup365 Portal. 

Similar in process to restoring a SharePoint/OneDrive file, users will see folders listed in the their Mailbox which will contain their restore. 


Requirements

A restore level account to the Backup365 portal.



The Process


To do a Full Mailbox Restore: 


  1. Go to the Backup365 Portal, log in and navigate to the Mailbox tab
  2. Find the Mailbox which you would like to restore a folder from.
  3. Select the Mailbox and "Restore" button to see the restore points available for a full mailbox restore.
  4. Once you’ve located the restore point, restore, select it and click "restore"
    Note: You can change the restore destination by selecting the pull down and choosing a new email address.



To restore a specific file: 

  1. Go to the Backup365 Portal, log in and navigate to the Mailbox tab
  2. Find the Mailbox which you would like to restore a folder from.
  3. Select the Mailbox and the "Search Mailbox" button and select "Search". 
  4. Enter your filters. I.e. Start Date, End Date, To:... etc.

  5. Select the restore point and click "Restore 1 Item" - Proceed with the restore.
