How to create a query to count the number of protected users

Requirements

Admin access to the Avanan customer portal.

The Process

The number of protected users will be determined by two items in the customer portal.

• The groups filter - please see this article
• The selected users in all policies.

On the left menu, click into Analytics and Reports, Custom Queries

Click Create New Query.

As a template, Click Office 365 Mail, choose the 'Show All Users'.

Click Add condition, and add each of the following conditions

Account Enabled - Yes.

Is Deleted - No.

Is filtered out internal user - No.

Has Active Mailbox - Yes.

Has Exchange License - True.

Your query should look as per the below, with the query count at top right. This should match your MPmail Avanan license count.
