This article will cover all the Protection policies, where you can access them and what you can change.


Requirements

  • A Partner level log in to the Business365 Portal
  • A Business365 Customer with Filtering On


The Process

  • Log into your Partner Portal
  • Expand the Customer Accounts Menu on the left
  • Select Active Accounts
  • Click Login next to the Customer
  • Click on the Services Menu then Email Protection


Select the policy you want to change by clicking on the hyperlinked name


Spam Tab

You have a number of options here to change what happens to messages that are tagged in particular way.


Blocked Senders

This is where you will add Senders to your Blacklist.


You can add multiple addresses by adding a comma, semicolon or a space in between each entry. You can enter email addresses, domains or IP addresses. Wildcards are allowed, for example:


Safe Senders

This is where you will add Senders to your Whitelist.

Attachments

Here you can adjust what happens with attachments that are considered dangerous or that your Customer would like to block. You can change the settings to accept blocked attachment types from people on your Whitelist. You can also decide whether you want to strip the attachment or quarantine it through the first drop down.



URL Protection

This protects user who click on malicious URLs within emails. You can add domains, URLs, and IP addresses to a safe list that will not go through the scanning.


Phising

This is a feature you can turn on to protect against phishing, spear-phishing and spoofing attacks. You will be able to individually turn these on/off and decide what behaviour happens with each.
