Description

This article will cover how to link a Microsoft 365 account with Office apps on both iPhone and Android. The example will be using the Outlook app but can be done with any other Office app.


Requirements

  • A Microsoft 365 User
  • iPhone/Android

The Process

iPhone

  • Open the App store
  • Search for Microsoft Outlook
  • Install Outlook
  • Open Outlook once the download and installation is complete
  • Click Get Started


  • Click Add Email Account
  • Click Add Account
  • Enter the Microsoft 365 Business User credentials
  • Click Sign In
  • If your organisation is protecting files on apps, you’ll see a dialog stating that your organisation is now protecting the data in the app and you need to restart the app to continue to use it. Tap OK and close Outlook

  • Open the Outlook app again
  • You will be prompted to set a pin and verify it


Android

  • Open the Play store
  • Search for Microsoft Outlook
  • Click Install
  • Open Outlook once the download and installation is complete
  • Click Get Started
  • Enter the Microsoft 365 Business User credentials
  • You will get a pop-up to install Intune Company Portal app

  • Click Go to Store
  • Install the Intune Company Portal app


  • Open Outlook
  • You will be prompted to set a pin and verify it
