Description

This article will cover how to create/edit a Global MPAV policy. You cannot edit the default policies, you will need to copy and create a new one if you would like to use the defaults with minor changes. You will need to create this before adding your Site, if your Site already exists you will need to use the import feature, please see How To Import A Global Policy To Existing Site

Requirements

  • An admin level login to the GSM portal

The Process

By default you will have four policies already, it is always best to check these first to see if they match your Customers needs.

If they do not you can create a new policy by doing the following:

  • Log into your GSM console
  • Click on Global Settings
  • Under the Policies tab choose Endpoint
  • Click Add or Copy. Copy will give you the choice to copy the settings of an existing policy

  • Give your Policy a name that makes sense for the Customer(s) you want it for
  • Click Create

  • The new policy will now show up on the left hand menu, click it to select and make changes

  • Select the policies you want to change then click Save Draft Changes

  • Click Promote Draft Changes to Live
