Description

This article will cover how to find the log files for the Workplace Desktop for both Windows and Mac. Typically needed when raising support requests related to Workplace.

Requirements

  • A Workplace Customer
  • The Workplace Desktop agent installed

The Process

Windows

  • Click the Workplace Desktop lock icon in your Taskbar. It is located near the Clock
  • Select About
  • Right click in the Agent Information area and choose Copy Logs to Desktop

This will create a ZIP file of the logs on your Desktop which you can then send to support@manageprotect.com when needed.

Mac

  • Open your Finder
  • Click on the Go Menu in your Menu bar
  • Select Utilities
  • Open Terminal
  • Type open dwp:allfiles

This will create a ZIP file of the logs on your Desktop which you can then send to support@manageprotect.com when needed.
