IP/Hostname Delivery - Changed in Portal Still Going To Old Server


This article will cover why Emails are being delivered to your old server when you have recently updated your IP/Hostname in the MPmail Control Panel


  • A Customer who has had their IP/Hostname changed recently

Troubleshooting Steps

In Workspace go to the most recent email and click on the Preview button. Look at the SMTP tab and check the server IP it has been delivered to.


Please note that when making changes to the IP/Hostname or the Outgoing Relay it will take 60 minutes from the time you click Save.

We do suggest making these changes out of hours and waiting the 60 minutes before contact support.
