How To Provision Office 365

Description

This article will cover how to create a new Office 365 tenant through Converge as well as add licences to an existing tenant. If you have a tenant with another provider and would like to move it to Manage Protect please contact your Account Manager or support@manageprotect.com.

Requirements

  • A Converge User or Admin account
  • Customer Name, physical address and contact details for new tenants
  • A Office 365 tenant setup through Manage Protect if you want to add licences
  • The licences the Customer needs

The Process

New Office 365 Tenant

  • Select the Customer from your All Customers list. Please see How To Select Product For Provisioning/Management if the Customer is not in your list
  • Choose Office 365 from the drop down
  • Fill in the Contact and Customer details. The tenant ID will check if it is unique after you enter it and click into another field, if a red cross appears you will need to adjust the ID, we suggest using AU or AUS at the end if this happens

  • Click Create
  • Click the + next to Products
  • Choose the Product from the drop down. Please note we do not have all Office 365 products in this list, if you do not see what you want to provision contact support@manageprotect.com and we will get it added for you
  • Add the number of licences
  • Repeat the above for each licence type the Customer needs
  • Click Update

Add Office 365 Licences To Existing Tenant

  • Log into Converge
  • Click on Services
  • Find the Customer in All Customers either by scrolling or search using the Customer.. field

  • Click on the Office 365 icon next to the Customer Name
  • Click the + next to Products
  • Choose the Product from the drop down. Please note we do not have all Office 365 products in this list, if you do not see what you want to provision contact support@manageprotect.com and we will get it added for you
  • Add the number of licences
  • Repeat the above for each licence type the Customer needs
  • Click Update
